Hi,

I am trying to get NT example 54 to work using editable report to Exel.
It seem to require the print previewer - is this correct ?

Anybody have this example with the editable report procedure active and working ?

And I absolutely agree with your comment.  This request is not for an normal save-buttun.  This is a function that prevents further modification to the record, so it would be good to give the user an option to bale out.

The most important one is the Save button.
I would like to give the user a message and the option of cancelling the save.

No this is a problem with all extendeded characters:  ÆØÅæøå  are the ones we are using.

I have become so used to using Message to showing messages after saving a form, clicking on buttons etc. and then action on users choice.

How can I best get this functionality in a NT app ?

Hi,

I have in WebServer - Advanced set the charset to ISO-8859-1 and Store-data-as to Scandinavian.
Everything shows scandinavian characters correct but when I tabs off a string field it converts to UTF  (I presume.)

How can I prevent this.

NT 7.18 / wizarded form.
