Hi Bruce, what's the future of Nettalk, any news about NT15? by the way NT 14.36 is a rock solid

Hi Osa,

Development in the NetTalk engine has been "on hold" for a bit because I've been working on the new File drivers.

Having access to more powerful, more secure and faster drivers is the next natural step for NetTalk Web Servers. So first I need to get the drivers "done" and then add some of those features into NetTalk itself.
(Actually NT14 and earlier will do well with the new drivers already because the new drivers use far fewer resources on the server side, and are also tuned for page-based requests, such as the ones NetTalk makes.)

There's also a lot of new functionality in the drivers which need to be exposed via NetTalk. For example the Full Text Search concept makes complete sense in web apps etc.

And of course, there are a raft of new features etc on my white-board waiting for adding to NT.
