Title: WebCam criteria for reading barcodes

HI,
NT 14.16
Clarion 11.0.136
I have 3 webcams - 1 is on old Logitec with autofocus, and 2 are generic web cams.  Only the Logitec will identify and read barcodes.  It seems like AUTOFOCUS is the key piece.  Is that correct?
What cameras are folks having high reliability in reading barcodes and QR codes with NT?

Hi Ron,

Autofocus, sure. but I think they all have auto-focus.
But resolution matters. Cheap PC webcams are typically very low res compared to say the cameras in most phones.
So if you want to scan barcodes from a PC you need aq camera with "good" resolution.
