C7 is still having gpfs but with patient... it compiles and run a NTWS app without problem.

				Found a problem.... showstopper

In the form field definition, in the Type drop, does not apperas Drop, Date and Display, may be a C7 problem because if I dont touch the form the app compiles ok.

Please Bruce, I want to continue my developing of one particular app with C7, I´ve made a lot of changes and dont want to port it back to C6.

 Thanks
 Alberto

More problems... may be C7 may be NTWS template...

In the browse template if you define a new form proc in the form tab, when you exit the browse proc, it does not appears in the procedures tree.
Same if in a form you include a new browse.
 Both works ok in C6

In a browse, if you choose the first record to change you get always the error:
Record not found (5), Error0, from key xxxxxxxxxx

 To be  continue testing...

 Thanks
 Alberto

				Hi Alberto,

 >> Record not found (5), Error0, from key xxxxxxxxxx

this is most common if the Browse and Form are not set to the same Unique Key.

Also, make sure you have a recent build - there was 1 fix for a cause of this not too long ago.

Regarding some of the other C7 issues - there's not a lot I can do at this stage.

 Cheers
 Bruce

				Ok Bruce,
The app I´m testing compiles and runs ok in C6 so, its not a key problem.
Will download the latest template and let you know.

Regarding the drop issue, can you duplicate this? may you please post a PTSS, SV will give you more attention than me!

Anther issue, you cant type F10 in the entry template fields to edit it.

 Thanks
 Alberto

More... F10 does not work anymore.

Please talk to SV, this one and the drop issue turns NTWS template unusable in C7.

 Regards
 Alberto

F10 seems to be working here.
Perhaps you have one of those keyboard where you have to press a F-Key before the function keys work?

 Cheers
 Bruce
