Title: Localhost error: SSL_ERROR_NO_CYPHER_OVERLAP
Post by: JohanR on October 10, 2016, 01:16:11 AM
Hi,

I am getting this error now when I try to access a NTWS on my local machine.
In the past it used to give an option to override the security for localhost, now it does not.

All browsers are blocking further access.
NTWS and browser on my local machine.

I have just gone through the process of applying and receiving new certificates for a domain and perhaps I did something in creating the certificate request etc...
There also seems to be similar error messages on the internet for various browsers and they seem to be related to tightening security in the browsers.
So not sure if related.

thanks

Johan

Hi,

Been going around in circles with this and after brief chat with Bruce and going over things again and checking all steps,
I realised that I did not actually install the new certificate on the machine.

By "install" you mean "copy files to new machine" ?

NetTalk doesn't require certificates to be installed in the Windows Certificate Store.

cheers
