Hi All
I am attempting to style my simple NT web app with my limited knowledge of css and am stuck on how to center the browse, see screen shot.
I want all between the 2 red arrows to be centered
I am using Clarion 8 and NT7.4x (at the moment) and the app is compiled using shoestrap 3 and I have added my css to a custom.css file
Any help appreciated
Many thanks
Edwin

Hi Edwin
You probably need to be more specific about what you mean by 'centre the browse' - what exactly do you want to 'centre'? Your screen shot looks standard with everything in the right place.

You may be able to sort of cheat by enclosing the browse in two xHTML routines with an opening and a closing center tag, respectively. Not elegant but may work.

You could also open the browse as a popup and set the width accordingly.

Hi
I want to have all objects in between the arrows centered on the screen, please have a look at this screen shot from another app I did using scriptcase.along with form.
I want to use Nettalk and use my Clarion skills that I have built up over the last 22 years:-) and only wish I could produce a screen and form like the attached (without too much fuss and bother).
I like to learn but this web stuff is not coming that easy to me, I get CSS but inspecting elements to see where it should be applied is a lot of trial and error with varying degrees of success.
I am thinking if I can get Nettalk to produce applications with browses and forms like the attached then WOW!
I know this is all in the BootStrap / Jquery templates / configuration + CSS and maybe after an intensive course I may be able to do it but it ain't happen' just right now when I need it to.
Can anyone here amend a shoestrap template to produce the basic look and feel I am after?
I will attend the Nettalk user group meeting next Thursday as Bruce suugested so he can walk me through all this, should be very frustrating for Bruce trying to explain all this to me :-).
Any help is greatly appreciated
Thanks to you all
Edwin

Hello
I have managed to get close to what I wanted.
Used a pop up for the browse and managed to learn a little CSS on the way :)
Here is the latest view of my screen
I do want all central at some point but I reckon that I need responsive for that
Still learning
Bruce, I did register for the news group today but too late methinks as no link received, always next week
Many thanks
Ed
