On a browse that has main table of Document and a linked table of staff the searching behaves as follows:
The Staff name is displayed in the brows e from the linked staff table. All other fields are from the document table.
I f I sort by the staff name then enter a value (Contains) like 'brian' then the browse briefly shows the filtered records then reverts to all records again. If I click on the menu choice that got to the browse then the filter works for the staff name column. I can then enter other filters and it works.
Seems to only happen on browses that have a linked table with the linked field in a column and on that column it behaves as explained.
