Bruce,
Is there any news on the redactor front?

I'm not sure of the exact context of your post Rene, but from the version history;
version 8.12;
Fix: Redactor script updated to 9.2.4 - fixes problem with Redactor editor being read-only on popup forms.
Is this what you had in mind?
Cheers

Hi Bruce,
Thanks for the reply.
I am current ly having a problem when i select a text and want to make it e.g. <h1>, nothing happens and sometimes the menu disappears.
So I was checking the forum for existing problems (and possible fixes) and noticed that you were looking into things. Different things apparently.
Hence my question.
But I do have a problem here. As described.
If you want me to, I can supply an example over the weekend.
Cheers,
Rene

Hi,
Some additional info:
The Web36 example works fine.
I copied the setting to my form.
The Text field gets the allowHtml box "on" and that's it.
In my app this settings have no effect at all.

have you included the Redactor script in the WebServer procedure?
if it works in the example, but not in your app, then I guess you need to post an app to show it not working, otherwise it is hard to say what you did wrong.
cheers

Hi Bruce,
I see the readctor heading in the text field I am editing.
It is mainly the style drop box that doesn't work at all.
I see no change when I select e.g. HEADING1 in de dropbox. The selected text remains as it is.
Even the "underwater" view ( using <>) doesn't show H1 tags.
Bold, italic etc seem to work fine.

Bruce,
In one of the other threads about redactor you suggested that I switched the default validation off.
This is a note to you that this seems to be the solution for my redactor problems.
Thanks so much.

Walter - I recommend you start a new thread with your specific concerns. This thread is likely to get "blanked" soon for being too long.
