Title: double click enabled in browses..
Post by: robirenz on April 29, 2014, 06:16:54 AM
I think this is a bug using NT8.10.. but let's see what people say..

The double clic is cool. makes your app more window friendly. but.. I think there is a bug.
the double clic opens up my browse even though I have all my buttons insert, change, delete, view all as not available.
I think if at least the change and/or view button is not available, double clic should have no action..

Hi Roberto,

No, I think not a bug.

Firstly - the Browse has a "Form Procedure" set.

<<  The double clic opens up my browse even though I have all my buttons insert, change, delete, view all as not available.

There's no "functional" relationship between the visibility of a "change" button (either under the browse, or in row) with the Doubleclick.

there is a relationship if there is a "Change Condition" set - in that case the condition will be applied to the doubleclick as well.

You can disable the double-click on a specific Browse using the change condition, or the drop-down on the Change button tab.

Cheers
