Hi,
C9 with NT 6.55
If I select the Tab Style then an orange graphic tabs appears. I need the old simple, Tab style. How to get it?
Thanks
-
not sure what you mean - a screen-shot might help....

ok, sorry...
image 1 what I get selecting Tab Form Style.
image 2 what I need, I think this is the way NT4 did it
Thanks

XP-Tabs have been deprecated for a long time now, but you can still use them by setting the tab type to xp-Tab, instead of Tab.
However this is not recommended. Better to use the new styles throughout the application, including the tabs. That way you can set the app to look the way you want, based on the overall style.
You _may_ need to turn on support for the XP-Tabs script on the WebServer Scripts tab (I don't recall exactly.)
Please note that this feature may be removed in the future.

Thanks Bruce but theres no such a " turn on support for the XP-Tabs", at least in 6.55
I think XP-Tabs is simple and faster than tabs.
Why is it not recomended?
Thanks

I'm not sure how it's simpler. And I don't think it's faster.
>> Why is it not recommended?
because it will be completely removed (if it hasn't been already -- update - yes it has been removed ). As I recall it's currently implemented just as CSS using the regular tab - the actual XP-Tabs JavaScript code was dropped a long time ago - back in NetTalk 5 or early in 6 I think.
It was removed because it was not consistent with all the other JavaScript code, and wasn't necessary. You can style the Tabs to look like XP-Tabs using CSS.
