Hello Bruce,
Using the planner in the shipped HotDates example.
To duplicate, simply open and close the update form. I clicked the planner, opened the form and then clicked cancel.
You may have to do this several times.
The planner will randomly "reset" and will display incorrect information.
I think this started in 7.13. Not 100% sure on that.

no didn't get lost. Actually Parker provided a video showing exactly how to get the problem effect, but it's proving to be a very stubborn one to fix.

Thanks. There was a a large number of posts that hit at once. Just making sure. I know you have a lot on your plate right now.

I can see where it would be. I looked at it with my minimum skills :) and I simply cannot see what is causing it. It's almost as if the loop through the dates is re-firing somehow and refreshing the planner. Really weird indeed.
Okay, I will leave it in you capable hands.

Hi Don,
In the demo app using the Horizontal Week Planner menu option, click on a blank spot to add a new appointment. After you complete the entry nothing shows in the planner until you refresh the form by clicking on another appointment or change the date selector, then the new appointment "bars" show up.
Second issue seems to be when using IE, specifically IE 10 in my case. Open one of those new appointments created in the previous step and click the delete button. The record is deleted but the graphic in the planner does not disappear. Now click on another appointment block in the planner, poof, record not found error alert. Cancel out of that and the deleted record graphic now disappears and you can now edit an existing entry.
Please let me know if you are able to duplicate that in the demo app.

Okay. I have duplicated it. I tested it on IE10 and Firefox 22.0.
With the Planner, when entering new records, seems everything works for the first record or two. After that, the planner will not be updated/refreshed properly and the new record will not appear. Also, getting "record not found" on existing records. Very hard to establish a step by step way of duplicating but there's definitely something amiss.

I have been working on my planner for hours today with no problems using NT 7.19.
7.19 seems to be rock solid so far.

hmm - don't think I did anything for the planner specifically - although that may be a side-effect of one of the other tweaks.
