Hi, I need to display a variable in a message (loc: alet?)

Anyone has an example

loc:alert = 'Some text here ' & variable & ' more text here'

But, I think Bruce may have a better/newer way to do alerts (Cannot remember the syntax off the top of my head).

what is the context?
ie what happens that makes you decide you want to set a message?
