Title: Reports - Progress Bar
Post by: charl99 on October 25, 2012, 05:31:15 AM
Hi Bruce,

It seems that reports where the 'Allow Multiple Starts' option is on does not go to the .Kill routine, therefore the 'Click here to download file' does not appear on the web.  Could you please tweak the code a bit.

While I am on this, could you please also add an option for the 'Click here to download file' message to disappear once it has been clicked, as most of the time the pdf will anyway be deleted after it has been clicked.

Thanks a million times.

Cheers
Charl

I think this is related, I am doing loads of reports now:

The NetTalk Extension to report procedure.

There are 2 options on this:

1) No Records Source
2) No Records Popup

I am not sure what 1) means and as far as I can tell 2) does not work, ie the progress bar changes to 'Click here to download report' and then serves garbage.  I would think it should Popup a message that says 'No Records' and not give the option to 'Click' and get nothing?

Thanks
Charl

Hi Bruce,

Any Progress (uhmmm, pardon the pun) on this?  It does not look like it is in the version history.

Thanks
Charl

PS. I see at www.capesoft.com/clarion that the download is still 6.48 although if I go to the Docs it is actually 6.49.

I think this item has been forgotten, so to make my Sunday morning trip to the office useful:

Could you please also add an option for the 'Click here to download file' message to disappear once it has been clicked, as most of the time the pdf will anyway be deleted after it has been clicked.

Thanks and sorry for being a pain  ;)

thanks for the reminder Charl - I'll check into it (but it might be harder than you first think.)
