Title: View button behaving strange

Hi please can anyone help my view button is doing something funny all over ths system. anytime i click on view from a browse and then close the view form my browse buttons get disbled until i refresh screen

yes, it's a bug in 6.40 - will be fixed in 6.41

I'm glad to hear it's a bug. I just spent about 4 hours trying to come up with a workaround. I tried to add a button as Other and set the action option set to View BUT View is not one of the Action options available. So I tried to use the 'use button name' entry, but it seemed to have no effect on what was loaded as loc:act nor could I find any generated source code to it in the Update form. In addition, or maybe because of no Action, the session value rowID was not correct in the Update form.
