Title: SAVEPAGE method seems to be broken (NT6.26 / Clarion 6.3)
Post by: Johan de Klerk on March 25, 2012, 12:18:39 AM
Hi,

I think something is broken on the NetTalk SAVEPAGE stuff: ThisWebClient.SavePage(FileName)

I have tried the NT Demo app in C:\Clarion6\3rdParty\examples\NetTalk\Demo\NetDemo.App

Compile the demo app,
Load the WEB CLIENT,
Get a webpage,
Click the SAVE button,
Specify a TXT file.
You will get an error that the file could not be saved.

Could someone please try the same to see if you get the same problem.

Thanks in advance

Regards

Hi Johan

It works for me. Save as new file and overwrite existing file, both works. It sounds like you are having a permissions issue.

Hi Rob,

I tried 3 different PC's and it does not work on one of them.

I have compiled the NetDemo.app in Local mode. (Attached)

Could you please try it on your side and see if you get the same problem.

Hi Rob,

Very-very weird.

I ran the demo program again now and it worked perfect like in your screenshots.

I then compiled the demo app again and ran it, worked perfect.

I will have to check why it did noit work yesterday but works today on my computer.
Nothing changed between yesterday and today on my computer.

Sorry for bugging you like this and thanks for the checking.

Regards
