Title: IOS 5 Menu Issue

We are having a problem with submenus in IOS 5. This was not an issue in IOS 4, and is not an issue on any PC based browser. But in IOS 5, if you tap on a menu (double-drop menu style) that has a submenu level 2 below it, it will not display the submenu and then prevents any other menu item from being tapped afterwards. For example, we have a top level 'MAIN MENU', which when tapped drops down several menu items. Of these, a few have submenus (level 2). With IOS5,  we can not get to the submenus (nothing shows and nothing happens), and then if we try to tap on MAIN MENU again, not even the menu items below MAIN MENU will appear. You have to go into a browse/form then exit out, and then the MAIN MENU is active again. But in either case, you can not get to the level 2 submenus. We are using 5.37.  By the way, same problem we are experiencing on android devices as well, but not in IOS 4 or desktop browsers. Any ideas? Thanks.

Unfortunately that doesn't do the trick - same problem.

I'll be updating to NetTalk 6 this week, but didn't know if that would resolve the issue or if something else is going on. It's definitely related to changes in IOS5 (regardless if it's an iPad or Iphone) compared to IOS4 (worked on both devices), and also as I mentioned not working on Android devices. But all other browsers are fine.

Hi,

Yes, same problem here on my iPads with IOS 5.0.1 with the Double Drop menu style!
(With the Chrome menu everything is ok.)
Running with NT 5.39 at the moment.

Hope there is a solution.

I also tested with the NetTalk Example 3 (Login with browse) and added a level '2' submenu to the Browse menu, and same problem on IOS5, but not on desktop browsers. When you click on the Level '1' (in this case, the 'BROWSE' menu, nothing happens (no drop drown to show level 2 menu items below, etc.). I am compiling in the current NT 5.43 (and didn't work in 5.37 as well).

Hi,

Also problems when you have just a level 1 menu with items in it, for example:
BROWSE
- Customers
- Products
- Invoices

When you tap on BROWSE, you see the menu items appear.
But when you tap again on BROWSE, the whole menu isn't working anymore.
You have to press F5 to refresh the screen and after that you can tap again for one moment.

Hi Bruce,

My iPad customers can not use my NetTalk app right now because of this serious issue under iOS5 with the Double Drop menu style which is the default recommended menu style under NT6.
This is a big problem for me.
