Title: How do you browse search results?
Post by: Mike McLoughlin on June 04, 2009, 10:27:13 AM
When you make a search and it throws up a list of results, how do you browse through just the results?

It seems like after you click on one result to read it, you are put back in the unfiltered msgs.

TIA

Mike

How are you doing your search?
There are a number of possible methods - so it kinda matters to the answer.

I'm using the serach box with the search button to the right and alonhside to the left is the text "Welcome to NetTalk central forums"

It then shows me pages of results with the matches highlighted in yellow.

As soon as you click on one you lose the rest of the results.

Ahh - you mean, "how do I search this forum" - as distinct from "how do I search my NetTalk browse".

Sorry I can't help you there... Perhaps John can pipe in?

(On tip - instead of clicking on a link with the left button of your mouse, click it with the _middle_ button - usually the wheel. This opens the link in another tab, and hence leaves the original list still there...)
