NT5 Lookup Popup In a Browse
« on: May 06, 2010, 02:54:53 PM »
Bruce,

Could you add, maybe to the Other button, in a browse the ability to open a jQuery dialog with either a NetWebForm or NetWebBrowse in it, either Modal or not?  I think that 99% of the code is written with the Popup Lookup functionality on a form.  It would be really useful to show additional information for a line item in a browse.

Hi David,

99% might be a bold estimate  :). While I appreciate the level of confidence, it's actually not quite as simple as that. Making it work does not necessarily take a lot of code, but the code needs to be incredibly precise.

That said, I'm very keen to add popup support to the browse, and that is on my list. Popup lookups on a browse (ie EIP) as well as popup forms are all on the agenda. I'll add popup-child-browses to that mix as well.

Cheers
Bruce
