Has there been any development on this front?
I find I also need to authenticate against Active Directory for the client

Hi seanh

I'm validating against our AD. You can read my topic at http://www.nettalkcentral.com/index.php?option=com_smf&Itemid=36&topic=6994.0
Is it smart and the best way to do it - absolutely no idea. But the only way I've been able to make it work.

If you are doing a normal Clarion Desktop program, then Active Directory support (via LDAP) is included in NetTalk 10 Desktop.

This allows a Clarion Legacy or ABC program to check user access rights against an Active Directory Directory Services server.

NetTalk 10 is scheduled for release in July, 2017, but if you have an urgent need for this, and wish to beta test this class, please let me know.

Cheers

Hi Osa,

I'm not yet ready to release a list of new features. I guess that'll happen closer to the release date.

Responsiveness is already available (as we saw in the webinar yesterday) but I expect there will be more along these lines in NetTalk 10 as well.

Cheers

Hi Bruce.
Is there any chance that consuming wsdls generated by other companies will be part of NTWS10? You have indicated a couple of times that it is very close. I know from a previous thread that a number of users are waiting for it.

I can't comment on that at this point Terry.
The code was "done" but I'm really not too happy with the result.
