How to conditionally delete a record?
« on: May 25, 2010, 06:40:12 PM »
Hi,

I am looking to delete records from a browse only if they meet certain conditions.  I thought the Pre-Delete embed on the form was a good place to test if the conditions were not met, but I can't figure out which value for Ans will cancel the operation.  Tried Net:Web:InvalidRecord but that didn't stop the deletion.  So, two questions: Is this good place to do the conditions test? And, what value for Ans will cancel the operation?

Any help greatly appreciated.   Thanks.

Sorry.  Found a similar post from February after I used better search words.
