Hi All: I'm at a point where I will need to invest in one or the other. I've read that PDF Tools makes much smaller .pdfs -- but also cost substantially more to own. Using C6.
Any suggestions appreciated.
Thanks,
Jim

PDF Tools! Its a tight professional product that creates excellent PDFs (IMHO Softvelocity's isn't, its a simple cheap solution for those who are doing basic stuff).

Agree with Bill. Double-thumbs up for PDF-Tools!

Hi Jim,
Sure the cost of PDF-Tools is expensive - but it's a one off cost.
The improved quality of the PDF's last's forever.
And it's a lot more than just improved size. (which, um, matters.)
The layout is also better, and it supports bigger graphics.
I'd have no hesitation in recommending it.
cheers

and it supports bigger graphics.
Yep. SV's PDFs have bitten me several times over this.

Does someone have a link for the PDF Tools site? I'm assuming there's a Clarion template or wrapper for it also.
