NetWebYear
« on: December 06, 2011, 01:54:11 AM »
Hi
I have started playing a little with NetWebYear and have a few questions (
NetWebYear seems to be undocumented ):
Can I change the calendar so it starts on a Monday (Std. in Denmark) ?
Can I show weeknumbers to the left of each week ?
Can I print the calendar ?

A hint: The example 'Hotdates (12)' warn about Hotdates and a few other
templates are missing. Just ignore and compile, it works fine without these
templates ( sure must be missing something, but calendar, appointment etc.
can be tested).

Best regards

Hi Viggo,

you're right, HotDates is not required for the calendar stuff - despite the name of the example (which doesn't say "requires Hotdate") - the other templates in there are likely to just be the GPF Reporter stuff.

regarding the questions - I'm assuming you're refering to the "year view" or "month view" - at the moment the docs for that are very thin, and unfortunately the answers to your questions are not yet, not yet and "it's on a page, so print the page if you like".
It won't be possible to put that calendar on a Clarion report - at least not anytime soon.

cheers
Bruce

Hi Bruce

It is a pity that I cannot 'Start the week on a monday'. This is essential in Denmark. Is there any plan on when this will be possible ?

BEst regards
Viggo

Done in 6.09
See attached pic.

I've looked at including the week number as well, but that's quite a bit more involved because it affects the size of the calendar, so how important is that in the short term?

cheers
Bruce

Hi Bruce,

Great news! Thanks!
The week number is also very important for our customers.
I already use it in the jQuery datepicker with the datepicker settings.

Would be very great if you can implement the week numbers in the NewWebYear.

Best regards
Jeffrey

Super !!!
Weeknumber would be nice, but it is not as essential as Monday.
