TPS Error messages on server
« on: March 24, 2012, 04:37:13 AM »
I have a client who reported some issues. When I checked on the server there was a TPS error 33 message requiring me to OK it.

Is there a way to either be informed these are happening or better still prevent them from showing, or even sending them as an alert to the user?

If not there is no way of knowing if they are happening other than montior the server 24/7.

Thanks

John

Hmm. I am using that. But the template says Messages cannot be shown when run as a Service.

Hi John,

Yes, the message will not pop up, but CS MessageBox will log the message for you to a file. You can then check the log file sporadically. The default file name is messagebox.log. If you run it as a process though,  CS MessageBox will allow you to set a timer as well, on the message window which closes the window automatically. For a WebServer make it very quick, say one second.

Cheers
