SSL Problem
« on: August 23, 2013, 12:38:17 AM »
Hi All,
Please I am using SSL, and got the .crt and key file in the certificate folder and it loads it up when website start but my browser always comes up with a message only secure content are display and another button that says show all contents.

And this does disable things like my google font , my utube video on front page.

Please how can I stop this and let it server all my pages secure.

site seems to be working fine from here using the link you provided. If you publish the link publicly maybe others can try from where they are.

update: I see you are embedding the google font, and it is linked as http, not https. I've made a tweak for the next build so that the link will use https if the site is https and http if not.

cheers

set your youtube video url to https as well, rather than http.

Hello olu:
I was looking at the site (very elegant btw), and found something that cause me similar problems with the certificates.

First, fix the mixed content like Bruce suggest.

Then go to this web site and to verify the certificate installation.

http://www.sslshopper.com/ssl-checker.html

At least in the test, like happen to me a few days ago, it is looking for intermediate certificate and in some browsers cause me problems. This is very easy to fix following the instructions Bruce provide me:

http://capesoft.com/docs/NetTalk7/NetTalkWebSecure.htm#UsingIntermediateCertificates

This in the site from GeoTrust to download the intermediate certificates

https://knowledge.geotrust.com/support/knowledge-base/index?page=content&actp=CROSSLINK&id=AR1421

Hopes this info helps you. Let us know how it goes.

Cheers @ Urayoan

Thanks Urayoan,
I think I have managed to add the SSL intermediate certificates now, but still no padlock  to indicate it is secure in safari.

Hi Bruce,
I have just install the version 7.21 but now all my form buttons have stopped working . My save and cancel buttons do not work anymore . I had to keep pressing esc button to get out of forms
