Web Server - Ask For Help / Why are my changes not showing after a compile?

Clarion 8, Nettalk 8

When I make a simple change to a entry field and compile, the change does not show.
If I close the Application in Clarion and then reopen it and compile then I see the changes I made.

Why do I need to close the Clarion App in order to see my changes?

I must have a setting wrong in clarion, but I can not figure out what it would be.

Any suggestions or help? please.

Web Server - Share Knowledge / Server re-start for custom.css to take effect?

Clarion 8, Nettalk 9
when I make a change in my custom.css file, I run GZipall.bat and do a CTRL-F5 but the screen does not change unless I re-start the server, than a CTRL-F5 will show the change.

What am I missing here? Does the server need to be restarted for changes to take place?

E-Mail - Ask For Help / "EmailTo" - Only show group name

I have received emails that are sent to multiple email addresses and it only shows one word in the to address, something like "Board", instead of seeing all the other peoples email addresses.

Is there a way to hide the EmailTo addresses so the receiving party does not see everyone you are emailing to?

Web Server - Ask For Help / Intermittent JavaScript Error on log in page

I have a user that is complaining about having to restart the server in order to get the workstations to log in. The workstations are getting the error "Error in site Java Script" on the login page.

After restarting the server they have no problem getting logged in.

Any thing I can do in the program to make this work for them?

Using Nettalk 6 clarion 6.3

Web Server - Ask For Help / Wrong form being called from browse

I'm using the Form > Advanced button to call an URL like this - 'UF' & p_web.gsv('bui:type').

If the last browse record selected was UF3 and I am selecting a new browse record calling form UF5, it always calls the previous from or in this case UF3.

How do I get it to to call the right URL for the record that was selected?

Web Server - Ask For Help / Using "on click" on an image

I have a browse showing images. These are thumbnail size. When I click on an image, I would like to download the larger image to be viewed in a seperate page.

I do not want to load the larger images at the same time as the thumbnails as that takes way to long.

I do not see were I can put the code to download the larger image after clicking the thumbnail?

Web Server - Ask For Help / Unable to connect from internet

I have started my server and it works using 127.0.0.1:88 it also works from the LAN, but when I try to access it from an outside computer I get a message saying it can not connect.

I have the router set to accept port 88 on the server machine 192.168.1.135

What am I missing to get this working?

Web Server - Ask For Help / Web39 Message Log - How to get MAI:MailBoxName in message log?

I am experimenting with WebApp 39 MessageBox, using clarion 6.3 and Nettalk 7.10

In the embed for the mailboxes browse control "Call clicked    routine", I am adding: message(MAI:MailBoxName), but it comes up blank in the log file.

Is there a formatting issue in the message or do I need to some how load the session values first?

Web Server - Ask For Help / Report not getting sent - error 101 connection reset

Hi,

I have added an existing report to my web app. added pdf and nettalk extensions, added parameters.
Added a Other button to the browse records.
when I click the print button, after about 1 minute the web page error comes up. The url that shows is: http://127.0.0.1:88/PrintRecord?4488   

the 4488 is the record number. Is it formatted correctly or is it missing something?

Web Server - Ask For Help / Compile error after importing report

Clarion 8 Nettalk 7.04

I have imported a report to my web app from my win32 app and added pdf extension from Tracker and the nettalk report extension. I have added the prototype/procedure (<NetWebServer p_web>).

When it compiles, I get the error: GEN: Unknown Variable '%GloNoGenerate' - I tried adding "GloNoGenerate" to the global data with out success.

Any idea as to what is causing this error and how to solve it?

Web Server - Ask For Help / is it possible to display a PDF in a browse?

Hi,

I have a NetWebBrowse showing photo images and it works great. It shows 3 photos across.

I am also saving some pdf forms that I need to show in the Browse also.

How would I also display a PDF image along with the photos? Is this even possible?

Web Server - Ask For Help / How to get at photos on server in different folder?

I have a win32 app that has the photos stored on the server in a different folder than the main program. I want to build a web app that will access these photos on a browse. The photos are in the folder "c:\rccphoto\ID#\photo#.jpg".

I do not understand how to access these photos from the client machine? I have looked at the example app "Download files", but it does not make any sense to me. Could someone explain what I need to do?
