Confused about pressing a form button versus the Enter key
« on: March 18, 2008, 10:12:41 PM »
I've got a memory form used to enter a single search field.

I'm using a single button: the "Save" button. I've got the browse URL on the General tab field "URL on Save", and checked just the "Include Save/Close button" on th Advanced tab.

If I press the button, the browse gets exactly the search field I entered on the memory form.

If I press the Enter button, it sends the previous search keyword.

My questions are:
1) What is the difference between pressing the Enter key or clicking on the only button on the form? I would think it would be the same thing, but it's not.

2) Is there anyway to make the Save (now Search) button the default so that the Enter key uses its code?

Hi Mike,

It should behave the same -
Make sure you're on the latest release (4.30 official)
and that you've pressed Ctrl-F5 in your browser.

Keep me posted.

Cheers
