Web Server - Ask For Help / Need help in changing my app to SSL

1) Following AlwaysSSL(9) app, I changed my apps's settings to port 443 and turned ON use ssl and certificates to 'certificates\settings'.  Compiled and run

2) NT webserver created an empty certificates folder.  So the https://127.0.0.1:443 did not work.

3) Exited the webserver.  Copied the certificates folder from AlwaysSSL(9) to my program folder and over written the empty certificates folder.

4) Started the webserver.  Now https://127.0.0.1:443 does nothing, keeps spinning and times out.

5) changed  'certificates\settings' to  'certificates\settings.crt'.  Now getting ERR_SSL_VERSION_OR_CIPHER_MISMATCH

What am I missing? Do I need to create a new certificate?

Web Server - Ask For Help / File Upload Failing in IE browser but not in Chrome or Firefox

File upload is failing (see the attached jpg file) in IE-11 as well as in IE-8.  But no problem in Chrome or Firefox.  I'm sure it is to do with some kind of IE setting.  I would appreciate any hint.

My customer using our web application.  On their web site there is a button, when clicked, our NT web program login page comes up.  The address page shows the static ip address and the port number.  How to mask the ip address and port?

Web Server - Ask For Help / Sending a message from a report

How do I send the user a message after a report is successful/unsuccessful? The report is a CPCS report and I have added <NetWebServerWorker p_web> parameter.  Embed point and a small sample code would be great.

The report runs fine on a blank tab.  But I would like to alert the user if there is not data.

Web Server - Ask For Help / Duplicate Symbol while compiling the main app of multi-dll apps

I have created multi-dll app before, but did not encounter the duplicate symbol errors that I could not fix.

1) Created a wizarded webserser app - No problem
2) Created a data dll (export all file on the global file control), export all on stringtheory, winevent, xfiles --- No problem
3) Changed the wizarded main app on step 1 (all files from another app on global file control), stringtheory, winevent, xfiles made part of a multi-dll.  Message box option is un_threaded.
4) Inserted the data dll on the main app and made sure the solution pad shows 2 apps (main app and data app)
5) While compiling main app I'm getting bunch of duplicate symbols on global variables that are defined in the dictionary.

What am I doing wrong!

The menu items on a web page is flushed to the left in IE-11 browser (see pic).  But this looks fine in Google Chrome (see pic).  What can I do to resolve the IE-11 browser issue?

Web Server - Ask For Help / Exception at address 00046E149

Recently upgraded to NT8.24 from 6.57.  When I hit login button I get Exception error and the program closes.  What could be causing it?  Do I have to re-write the app again in NT 8?

Any tip is appreciated.

Web Server - Ask For Help / Some ascii character problem in browse and menu

Some ascii characters, say 248 (alt+248 on num keyboard) the produces degree or 230 that produces Greek character mu, do not show correctly on a browse.  These characters are in a cstring field of a TPS file.  Using c9 and NetTalk-6.57.

The 'Next" button does nothing.  Also the form does not load the record that has this character and the browse does not respond.  However, if that column is not in the browse than all work as normal.

Would upgrading to NT8 fix this?

Any help is appreciated.

There are three radio button options on NetTalk Web Server for capturing log: No / Screen / Screen & Disk.  Where do the logs go if an user selects Screen & Disk?
