Title: WSDL news?
Post by: peterH on December 04, 2013, 01:50:02 AM
Any news regarding NT and WSDL?

I think Driess was doing a DevCon session on this topic (I wasn't there) and I think there was some mentioning at some point about the possibility of something being done for NT.

I'll soon be publishing a webservice for integrating to one of our commercial offerings but without a WSDL it won't look very professional.

Hi Peter,

We have indeed licensed Dries' work, and I plan to fold all of that into NetTalk 8. Unfortunately I haven't integrated the WSDL generator into NetTalk yet.

cheers

Hi Bruce,

That sounds good. Are you still targeting NT8 for New Year +/- ?

yes. I've got a few things left to do in the next couple weeks, but then I'm pretty much heads-down on NetTalk 8 for a while. We have currently penciled in a release for March, but there's a ways to go before I can confirm that. I may do private-betas of specific functionality as it becomes available, but we'll see how that goes.

cheers
