Title: Form save returns to home in mobile mode
Post by: rjmiller on January 11, 2012, 11:35:38 AM
Hi, I am using 6.14 in a webserver wizard generated app.  The form returns to home (1 level up from browse).  I see a setting for URL on save and URL on cancel but have not been able to figure out what to put to force it back to browse.

An example will be helpful I think. It's hardto comment in the abstract, and I'm not seeing the effect in the examples a the moment.

Cheers

I see this here from both mobile and desktop based on Android and Chrome browsers but IE and Firefox behave as expected.  Cache has been cleared.  This is a very simple app... the only changes to the wizard generated app have been in formatting of inline buttons for mobile and browse fields removed from mobile browse.

I think I have found a fix (or workaround not really sure).  I have also been seeing "error in javascript" but app still runs so I had ignored that pending finishing development and then tidying this up somehow.  When I searched the forum for this javascript error I saw that turning off compress and combine in webserver extension fixed it in previous builds.  I had thought this had been fixed in 6.13 but when I did this I no longer get the "error in javascript" and the form now returns to browse... "fixed" (I think).  After a while you start thinking all is magic... black and white.

This is the same one that I posted concerning lookups...

I will send that to you.  It is VERY small dictionary and app.
