Anyone have advice or examples of how to do the following?
I have a two fields that will be combined to prefill another field's value. I was thinking of using javascript for this, but I'm not even sure how to approach this with the Form template.
The fields are:
AST:YearOfManufacture
AST:Make
and they would be combined to form the dynamic value that goes into the next field:
AST:Description
Also, does the javascript handcode ellipse/lookup button on the field act like an include (I guess I could test this).

I'm terribly sorry to keep asking, but I think I missed your point about autoincrementing numbers, and it's the only thing keeping me from beta testing my own new app.
In example 31 of the Webserver, the customer, invoice, and product IDs all look to have the PrimeAutoInc checkbox marked. The unlike the customer and invoice incrementing, the product numbers show '0' on the update form. I can see no difference between how these records work. I'm wondering if it might be a glitch.
Or, I may be misunderstanding what you're saying about parent / child IDs incrementing. I suspect it's either a bug or I'm missing a check box. I do have PrimeAutoInc() checked on the advanced tab, but it still displays 0 on the form. Thanks! MikeG

Bruce, Thanks, I think I follow. So it WILL autoincrement if the PrimeAutoInc is checked? Mine does not do that.
Also, on your example 31, all the procs seem to be coded much the same. The customers and invoices autoincrement the number and display it, but the UpdateProducts proc does NOT display the number. Is there a difference between the Product form and say the Customer or Invoice form? I can't see one.

Any ideas why my autoincrementing numbers won't display when adding a new record? I've got them set as Display, and they do auto-increment when saved, but they show as zero ('0') on the form. The Example App 21 does it correctly, but I don't see anything different between what I'm doing. They look fine on the browses.

I've got a static IP and trying to get a NetTalk app to work so I can access it from outside my firewall (the outside world). Anyone know of a free website that I could go to, put in my IP address and port, and have it show me what it sees? Anonymizer.com is a little expensive and slow. Thanks!

The Rest - Ask For Help / How to get IP address

I'm just stumped on this for some reason: How do I get a) the IP address of the computer the program is running on, and b) the IP address that it appears to be to the outside world (like the router's IP)? Basically I just need to load it into a message string, and can take the rest of the program from there. I can't quite get it. Thanks in advance! MikeG

Are there any developers available for a 3-4 week (probably after revisions and all) project building a website that will take NetTalk packets of data and adding them to a table. It will have log-in, and that sort of thing.
80% sure the project will happen, but sure would like to know of anyone available. I often have other projects as well from time to time.
Prefer USA (so I don't have to be up at all hours of the night<g>), but would entertain others. Can you let me know your availability (or that of your staff) starting in the next month, compensation requirements, and a little about your level of expertise?
