SSL on NetTalk server

I don’t have any experience with Certificate or SSL. I created a Web Store with NetTalk.The Web store accepting credit card information, and we processing locally. I can't make the examples to work. Not clear to me how to use the certificate. Please some body help me what is a best and less expensive way to secure my server.
