View Only Mode IF
« on: February 04, 2012, 12:44:08 AM »
This function works great, however I have one problem.

I have a form on a parent table, on that form I have a browse on a child table.
On both the parent form and the child form I use the "View Only Mode IF" function.

Problem is that because the parent form goes into read only mode it is suppressing the Change button in the child browse which means I can't open the child form at all to see the data.

I have experimented with using the View button as well as the Change button, however in View mode my form doesn't initialise the display of my various drop downs properly, so would rather use the "View Only Mode IF" function.

Any ideas?  Basically my request is not to suppress the Change buttons on child browses I guess.
