The Rest - Ask For Help / Re: Direct carrier billing
« on: July 11, 2017, 10:48:18 PM »
Hi Bruce
the service provider giving either using json files or SMS API that requires a web-server where we could host our program (for example as a PHP-script). Interaction between their server and our script will be conducted with HTTP GET requests.
Thus, any examples that i should refer to for this case.

Hi friends,
How to integrate direct carrier billing option in nettalk developed app?
Or is there any easier payment option for monthly subscription which will auto deduct from the members phone
without the members key in their credit card/debit card details.

The Rest - Ask For Help / Re: Opening a file in another pc from main server application
« on: September 17, 2014, 05:17:43 AM »
bruce,
i have tried your suggestion. my server which use NetClient able to send a message. when i check the command prompt, netstat: it shows 192.168.1.135:2376 established.
however in my client pc, when i check the netstat, there is no foreign ip address shown.
sometimes, the client pc did receive the signal. I see inconsistency.
what seems to be the problem?

Hello nettalkers,
a server application need to send a trigger to a selected pc in LAN, which in turn will open a flash file in that selected pc. Can i do this task using nettalk? if yes, what example available for me to proceed.
To simplify my request, below is the gist of what i am asking:
MAIN PC - Server.exe will have a window that have 12 button. When i press button 1, then it will open a swf file in PC 1 in LAN. If i press button 2, then it will open another swf file in PC 2.
please guide. thanks

Web Server - Ask For Help / Re: Developing Mobile Application using Nettalk6 for Dummies
« on: June 09, 2013, 06:44:05 AM »
Bruce,
I am using clarion 6.3EE & Clarion 8.0.9644.
I have 26 hours to show a prototype.
With such limited time, i can only show the customer for the "first round" of presentation for the web based online application developed using Nettalk 6 and it is accessible using mobile phone online.
But i know the customer will prefer mobile offline system. So i think i can drag the time further. What are the tools you recommend?

Terry,
Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I appreciate it my friend.
My customer is a food distributor. His drivers delivers the food to each customers and then he need to record the delivery in their mobile phone offline. The order detail is not fixed and is purely on an ad-hoc basis and upon customer request once the driver arrive at the customer place to deliver. For instance, the driver may go to customer place to deliver 5 unit of a food item. But, the customer may change mind and ask for 7/8 unit.
thus, the driver must record such delivery in their mobile phone.
then once they return to office, they will sync with office pc to the desktop system.

Hello Everyone,
I need to create a header browse and detail browse for the driver to enter the delivery of item using mobile phone offline (perhaps android phone).
then synchronize/send the data to the office computer when the driver return to the office.
Can we use Nettalk 6 for this purpose?
I have searched nettalk documentation and i have found out a small portion mentioned that nettalk 6 have the mobile browser support.
for a start, i import webserver and webhandler and change webserver setting to support mobile browser. then when i compile i get error message:
variable %netexapps is not defined in netweb.tpw
i have downloaded the latest update for nettalk 6 and using it in c6.3 in winxp and reinstalled the template but still in vain.
Please let me know which part of documentation or example should i use to accomplish my goal.
