Compile error..cannot find C5ASCXL.LIB
« on: March 14, 2009, 09:56:02 AM »
I was trying to complile the DIM example app and I get a compile error.   I read the readme file which said to do a "generate all" but that doesn't do anything.   Any suggestions?

Sorry..that's DIP not DIM.   Maybe I was a little "DIM."

Hi Don,

Many of the examples are written in Clarion 5, as we still support Clarion 5 for most of NetTalk. Unfortunately some builds of Clarion 6 get confused, and don't convert from the C5 app correctly.

In this case it's looking for the C5 Ascii file driver. Go to the project button, and just remove the file from there.

Cheers
Bruce
