XHTML / TinyMCE
« on: June 24, 2012, 02:15:57 AM »
I have a web form with a text box. I see that there is an option to tick "Allow XHTML" and select "TinyMCE", however, doing this does not appear to change things and the text box still appears plain with no text editing controls. What am I doing wrong? Do I need to install TinyMCE?

yes.
WebServer procedure
Settings
Scripts
"Include TinyMCS HTML Editor Script".

Thanks for that.

I ticked the box in Webserver settings and that resulted in the TinyMCE being enabled in the web form. I could then enter text in the control, but when the form was saved, the text was not saved - reopening the form, the text control was empty. Unticking the XHTML box on the form makes it work fine in plain text. The text field is a Memo.

What am I doing wrong?

I'd definitly recommend updating to the latest NT5 then. Don't know if it'll make a difference, but 5.32 is very old.
