Hi Brian,

There are other problems as well; for example when starting a server the program just hangs before the window is completely drawn and the file appname.serversettings.xml.tmp continues to grow. So not quite ready for production yet :-)

Hello Bruce and All,

The problem is connected to the Server Settings control template.

If I removed that control then the issues go away.

Maybe that will help point you where to look.

Problem is xFiles, I went back to the last version an problem solved.

Not quite. If you've got one or more web service procedures you'll get in trouble if not using the latest build of xFiles. But otherwise, yes.

I have not been able to duplicate any startup delay with the new xFiles.
If anyone has a large XML file that I can test with please send that to me.

One of my XML config settings files shot up to 12 gigabytes after I killed the unresponsive application.

Removing the Settings Control template from the WebServer window procedure, although not a fix, corrected the unrsponsivness.

Same problem here.
New Clarion installation and all templates updated. Web server still hangs as Peter descripes....
