Any news for sec win7 and features? i need a security solution for my NT
-
Hi Osa,
Progress has been good. I was hoping for a release at CIDC, but there's still a lot of documentation, and examples to make.
So my best-guess now is likely towards the end of April, early May.
Features-wise, it's based on Secwin6 - but it's been massively extended. Just the login screen alone took over a month to do. Creating something that is flexible, and at the same time easy for a mere mortal to use, takes a bit of time :)
Cheers
Bruce

Thanks.

At the last webinar, Bruce's Secwin-for-NT webinar was pushed back.
Mike Hanson is doing something this Friday.
I don't remember whether Bruce is doing Secwin the following Friday( June 19) or the Friday after that (June 26).

It's coming. I know it is receiving Bruce's attention based on his comments in the webinars. I'm also anxiously waiting for the NT supported release of SecWin 7. I never used SecWin 6 despite owning it for several years because my focus has been web apps.
Take care,
Don

secwin 7 is compatible with NT 11.40? any example?
-
Bruce has mentioned that it’ll require NT12. And the two will be released together. Soon.
However, there’s no telling if that means SV-soon, CS-soon or just soon ;)

I'm working hard to get the builds out Osa....
I'm in the "testing" phase now, at least for the functionality already completed.
(There's one feature still to do on the web side, but I'm going to do a build first, then work on that...)

any news??

Hi Osa,
I'm in the process of making the NetTalk 12 build, but have got a bit stuck on the multi-site example.
For some reason it just GPF's on startup - in a place where it shouldn't GPF (which means something is scribbline the code elsewhere.)
I obviously need to figure this out before release, so working hard on that.
I _really_ want to get this out ASAP - but of course people get picky if it just doesn't, um, run... <g>
cheers

well, I've got the GPF sorted out - so that's good. More testing, but hopefully soon...

It looks like beta testers needed... <g>

More like alpha testers at this point Ura - no production stuff....
